Important Information

To get the best experience from your candle while keeping things safe, it’s important to follow a few simple guidelines. Proper wick trimming, mindful burn times, and safe storage not only make your candle last longer but also keep your space clean and enjoyable. Below you’ll find some essential tips to ensure every burn is safe, clean, and beautifully fragrant.

Always Trim Your Wick: Keep the wick trimmed to about 5mm (half a pencil tip) before lighting. This helps prevent big flames, smoke, and black soot on your jar.

First Burn Matters: Burn your candle long enough so the melted wax pool reaches the edges of the jar on the first burn, usually about 2-3 hours. This prevents tunneling (when your candle burns down the middle and leaves wax on the sides).

Don’t Burn For Too Long: Try not to burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Long burns can overheat the jar and shorten the candle’s life.

Keep Candles Away From Drafts: Drafts can cause your candle to burn unevenly or flicker like it’s having a party. Place candles away from open windows, fans, or vents.

Never Leave Candles Unattended: This one’s obvious. Never leave a burning candle alone, especially around kids or pets. Safety first!

Store Your Candles Right: Keep your candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to protect the scent and prevent discoloration. Popping the lid on when it's not in use will help.

Extinguish carefully: Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame to avoid hot wax splashes or smoke. Avoid using your fingers or anything that might be dangerous.
